Triple boarded in Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, and Otolaryngology, Dr. Sherman is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Sherman offers a full range of cosmetic procedures from surgery to laser peels, including the most efficient skin care/rejuvenation programs available. His training and experience in Cosmetic Surgery often set him apart from other providers in plastic surgery who, even though board-certified, may have received minimal training in aesthetic or cosmetic medicine.

For the past 19 years, Dr. Sherman has been in private practice both in Vista and La Jolla, Scripps Memorial Hospital campus and is now located centrally in Del Mar at the Del Mar Cosmetic Medical Center. Dr. Sherman also serves on committees at the San Diego County Medical Society and is a Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at UCSD, teaching at Veterans' Administration Hospital in La Jolla. Dr. Sherman enjoys staff privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospitals, La Jolla and Encinitas, Tri-City Medical Center, North Coast Surgery Center, and Center for Surgery in Encinitas. He also specializes in a complete range of laser treatments utilizing the latest laser technology. Dr. Sherman has lectured widely in the San Diego area and has been a faculty member at numerous national meetings on cosmetic surgery, where he has lectured on different innovations in this field. He initiated and donated his services to the Face To Face Program in San Diego for cosmetic restoration of battered and abused women, and has hosted numerous visiting physicians in his clinic who have observed his surgical techniques.
